The Gong Piano is a unique chromatic instrument created by The Crow Hill Company, utilizing four harmonized gongs from Rome, Italy, and their innovative Shepherd Mapping technique to emulate piano-like responsiveness.
This virtual instrument offers a diverse range of sonic possibilities, from soft, marimba-like tones and hang drum-esque percussive sounds to aggressive, complex drones, all designed by Christian Henson with an organic yet otherworldly feel.
It features multiple articulations like hits, scrapes, and harmonics across four unique sound sets, extensive uncompressed audio material, and integrated effects such as SubBass Harmoniser, Delay, Reverb, and Granular Sparkles.
