SK-51
SK-51 is an all-in-one keyboard inspired by the Casio SK-1 (and his brother the SK-5), a 8-bit lo-fi keyboard from the 80’s, with sampling features and onboard drum machine.
Called the poor man’s sampler at the time, this keyboard was a real instrument and has been used by many major artists such as Fatboy Slim, Portishead, Autechre and Nine Inch Nails.
As some of us at Fingerlab compose their first songs with it when they were kids in the eighties, we wanted to bring back to you this particular feeling from the past, so we created the SK-51.
We recorded all the instruments and drums notes, one by one with a professional audio quality (16bit/44KHz), we recreated the sampling features, and we transcribed all the demo drums patterns.
We also added the sounds from the Casio VL-Tone, a keyboard older than the SK-1 but nevertheless famous.
With its nice and true to life interface, many instruments (Trumpet, Flute, Piano, Vibraphone, …), 4 sampling slot and many drums patterns and sounds, the SK-51 is versatile and fun music tools.

Mellowsound
Mellowsound is an emulation of a legendary instrument, a keyboard sampler from the 60s used by many famous artists like the Beatles, King Crimson, Radiohead and many others, this mythic instrument is called The Mellotron. You probably never heard his name but the melodies created with it are mythical.
As we have the chance to own a Mellotron M400, we wanted to share with you this unique sound, so we sampled all the notes from our beloved Mellotron, one by one, for all the instruments tapes.
With Mellowsound, you will be able to play Mellotron everywhere, with professional audio quality (16bit/44Khz).
It’s now like have a vintage orchestra in your pocket!
In the same spirit, we designed a smooth and photo-realistic user-interface as an homage to our dear Mellotron.

iPhilicorda
iPhilicorda is an emulation of a vintage organ from the sixties, the Philicorda, created by the Dutch company Philips.
If you search a warm and precise organ sound, iPhilicorda is for you.
By using the 3 octave registers and the 5 Vox sound, you will be able to create a wide palette of sounds.
Plus, the embedded spring reverb and vibrato will brings depth and character to your songs.
At Fingerlab, we used Philicorda since now 15 years in our musics, and we always had this dream of make an app with it, to be able to do music tour with a simple iOS device rather than with a nice but bulky organ.
So we recreated faithfully the original Philicorda sounds, and created a nice and graphic interface so you can get the same feelings than with a real Philicorda organ. We also added so new features that expand possibilities, such as and ADSR envelope editor, 4 FXs and a Farfisa-like Bright mode.
