Gooey Audio have released Mortamer, available at the intro price of $4.99, increasing to $49.99 after the promotion. The offer ends March 16th.
Mortamer is a Lo-Fi plug-in from Gooey Audio designed to add grit, character, and movement to your sound.
It features DC offset, bit reduction, sample-rate aliasing, modulation, envelope followers, low-frequency oscillators, formant filters, and a wide selection of presets. Mortamer gives you plenty of ways to layer, mix, and sculpt that unmistakable Lo-Fi crumble.
The preset library ranges from subtle dithered drones to metallic mouth-like formant vowels, offering both delicate texture and wild sonic transformations.
Use Mortamer to crush drums, modulate synths, and add depth and texture to your tracks. One of our favorite tricks is turning up the dither, lowering the sample rate, and modulating the filters to create that classic — and delightfully irritating — waaaaah!.
Mortamer helps others lose their sound fidelity.
But that’s not all—Mortamer comes with optional dithering, clipping, mixing, jittering, and modulation controls, making Mortamer a versatile tool in the studio.
Mortamer comes with 70 presets that cater to a wide range of genres and styles, from drones and formant textures to digital-beeper noises and even water-like sounds that imitate babbling brooks.
Features include:
- Samplerate & Bit Reduction.
- Low-Frequency-Oscillation.
- Classic LP/HP Filtering — with extra resonate peaks.
- Dithering, which is proportional to the input amplitude.
- Three modes for alaised image filtering.
- Ah, OoOo, E, & Ya Formant Filtering.
