What’s new in version 2:
- MIDI 2.0 Support: It now supports up to 65,536 velocity layers, virtually eliminating the “machine gun” effect found in standard sample libraries.
- Expanded Kit: The library was increased to 13 kit pieces (totaling over 33 individual drums and cymbals), compared to the 9-piece kit in V1.
- Physics Section: A new dedicated panel allows for deep customization of drumhead materials, shell tension, and resonance.
- Efficiency: Despite being modeled from an 87 GB sample set, the V2 footprint is optimized down to just 680 MB.
- Immersive Audio: Added support for surround formats up to 11.1.

Despite its original 87 GB sample set, the library is condensed into an efficient 680 MB, featuring 13 drum kits and over 33 individual instruments with advanced modeling for expressiveness.
Supreme Drums Orange V2 includes a Physical Drum Modeling section for customization of drum components and materials, a streamlined Fusion Effect System for EQ, compression, and transient shaping, and multi-mic recording with surround sound support.
