Humanizer Pro is a native plugin snd Ableton Live device designed to add human-like imperfections to MIDI performances, making music sound more alive and engaging.
The device models human timing and velocity variations, addressing the technical precision of MIDI which often results in lifeless tracks.
Humanizer Pro features four main knobs: Drift, Pocket, Error, and Velocity, allowing users to control psychological timing imperfections, shift notes before or behind the beat, introduce physical timing imperfections, and add volume variations.
The real-time visual display shows the timing of the most recent hit, a heatmap of possible hits, and the note’s original timing, providing visual feedback on the changes.
It is ideal for producers who program MIDI, play MIDI live, or make modern pop, dance, or hip-hop, as it adds micro-details to keep music interesting even when looped.
Humanizer Pro is available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU, AAX, and Ableton with Max for Live).
