SongEngine is a free MIDI generator plugin designed to help music producers overcome writer’s block by transforming chord progressions into new musical ideas.
It allows users to build chords, select from dozens of presets like basslines and arpeggios, and then drag and drop the generated MIDI directly into their Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
The plugin requires no music theory knowledge and is compatible with all major DAWs on Windows and macOS.
SongEngine offers instant inspiration, adapts to any genre, and provides a fast workflow with easy MIDI export, acting like a co-producer.
While the core plugin is free with over 60 presets, optional genre-specific extensions are available for purchase to expand its capabilities.
