The Lake is an ambient soundscape library for the Raizes Player by ZAK Sound, inspired by the stillness, depth and quiet beauty of lakes.
There’s something about standing beside calm water that changes how you listen. The world slows down, reflections stretch endlessly, and sound seems to drift and blend in a different way. The Lake was created from this idea – imagining sound as something fluid, where tones move, merge and evolve like water.
The library includes 12 ambient soundscape beds, each built from layered textures that slowly shift and unfold over time. These evolving atmospheres create rich, immersive backdrops that instantly fill the space with depth and calm.
Alongside the beds are 12 fully playable pad presets, designed to sit beautifully with the soundscapes. These expressive pads allow you to add gentle movement, harmony and melody while remaining perfectly blended with the evolving textures.
Together they create a palette of sounds inspired by water, reflection, flow and stillness – ambient instruments designed to drift, evolve and breathe.
