Sinevibes Release Duality

Sinevibes have released Duality, available for $29.00.

Duality is a hybrid vibrato. While it’s somewhat similar in nature to a phase shifter, in this effect, the notches in the frequency spectrum and the phase modulation are created separately – using multiple different DSP algorithm blocks. With this unique setup, Duality makes it possible to control the spectrum notch emphasis independently from vibrato, and is capable of producing cleaner and deeper pitch modulation – akin to a rotating speaker.

The plugin avoids sound coloration and latency since it uses no feedback and no delay lines. Duality works exceptionally well on instruments like electric guitar, electric piano, tone-wheel organ as well as mellow synths or bells – adding an incredibly beautiful, hypnotizing vibe, while also being able to go into psychedelic effect territory at more extreme settings.

The sound engine:

  • Hybrid algorithm comprised of multiple DSP blocks that separately create spectrum notches and pitch modulation
  • No use of feedback or delay lines for minimum sound coloration and zero output latency
  • Modulation frequency can be set in Hz or as host tempo fraction with precise transport location sync
  • Variable bipolar stereo phase offset
  • Lag filters on all continuous parameters for smooth, click-free adjustment
  • Supports mono › mono, mono › stereo, and stereo › stereo channel configuration

Duality is available to PC, Mac and Linux users (VST3, AU and AAX).
