sonicLAB have rreleased SPATAI v2.0, available for $21.00. The update is FREE to existing owners of SPATAI..
SPATAI is a utility software that offers Large Language Model AI assistance to move sound objects in a virtual 3D acoustic space.
It translates in real time the movement of multiple objects in cartesian or polar coordinates and sends this movement data to other 3D audio spatialization software.
SPATAI is designed to overcome the creative limitations of traditional slider-based L/R, F/B, Elevation controls.
SPATAI can use Cloud based LLM (consumes tokens) or Local LLM (hosted with Ollama or LMstudio) directly running on your computer.
The user inputs a descriptive text prompt to define a complex movement. SPATAI then translates this prompt into the corresponding motion script.
SPATAI creates complex motion of multiple objects with AI. It then communicates with third-party applications via OSC or MIDI to send each movement on a time line. It does not encode ambisonic audio or render digital audio in any format — it creates the motion data compatible for other third party software.
SPATAI can support any destination with OSC. More targets will be added over time and SPATAI will grow without any third-party dependency.
Features include:
- AI Motion Design – Prompt-based AI motion generation for complex spatial trajectories
- 64 Objects – Up to 64 objects with coordinated movement in 3D space
- Coordinate Systems – Supports both Cartesian and Polar coordinate systems
- Real-time Macro – Real-time macro controls acting on LLM motion script
- Transport Control – Playback controls for defined region with timeline scrubbing
- OSC / MIDI Output – Flexible output via OSC or MIDI to any compatible destination
