Mathias Kirkerød has updated BeatRepeat, available as a FREE download.
What’s new in version 1.1.1:
- Look:
- Five visual styles: Baseline. Flat. Editorial (newspaper), Glitch (CRT terminal), and Colorful (cartoon pastel).
- Per-theme pad textures: shimmering confetti on Colorful, newsprint halftone on Editorial, phosphor glow on Glitch.
- The beat-indicator ring on every pad strike now shows at every label-detail |evel, not just High, and picks up the active theme’s tint.
- Latching:
- Latch the kick on Odd and the snare on Even – they now when you start each pad Pressing either pad mid-pattern plays an accent hit without breaking the phase.
- “Odd” and “Even” are now bar-absolute.
- Sound:
- Ratchet sub-hits no longer stack voices or the downstream synth.
- Gate length inside a ratchet burst tracks the sub-hit spacing, so nothing bleeds into the next hit
- In Drift input-quantize mode, off-beat ratchet presses settle onto the grid as a group
- Misc:
- Pad labels show the correct instrument the instant the plugin loads.
