The Very Loud Indeed Co. have released Omnisphere Saga, available at the intro price of $21.00, increasing to $35.00 after the promotion.
Omnisphere Saga is a collection of 120 cinematic patches for Spectrosonics’ Omnisphere synthesizer. It includes 121 exclusive sound sources which have been recorded and designed specifically for this soundset. It only uses these new sound sources and does not recycle the stock ones in Omnisphere or any other set.
In sharp contrast with Omnisphere Mirai and Omnisphere Cobalt, which are made entirely from synth wavetables, Saga is the polar opposite — all of its soundsources are completely organic, the result of recordings of many string instruments like guitars, electric bass, cello, violin, double bass and even exotic instruments like the Dan Bau, a Vietnamese zither.
These recordings have been processed extensively to make them almost unrecognizable, while maintaining their unique organic character and imperfections. The patches in Saga showcase those sound qualities in spades and offer a large palette of otherworldly colours to compose with.
Omnisphere Saga makes extensive use of the modulation wheel. In many cases, it may completely change the patch into something totally different, so I encourage you to have fun with it.

Omnisphere Saga requires Omnisphere 2.8 and later (including version 3).
