Kobito Release ResSup

Kobito has released ResSup, available at the intro price of $29.00, increasing to $49.00 after the promotion.

ResSup is a lightweight dynamic resonance suppressor designed to smooth harsh resonances naturally.

It automatically detects frequencies that stick out too much and gently suppresses them in real time — useful for vocals, cymbals, piano, guitars, synths, live recordings, and mix buses.

Recently, we performed live in Tokyo, and while mixing the recordings for our music video, I found myself repeatedly dealing with:

  • Room resonances
  • Mic bleed
  • Harsh buildup
  • Sharp frequencies accumulating across tracks

That experience became one of the motivations behind building ResSup.

ResSup is lightweight enough to use across many tracks without heavily increasing CPU usage.

Features include:

  • Dynamic resonance suppression
  • Delta monitoring
  • Per-band solo / delta listening
  • Bell, Shelf, Cut, and Band-Pass modes
  • Spectral Attack / Release control
  • Transient Protect
  • Harmonic Preserve
  • Stereo Link
  • M/S mode
  • Sidechain

ResSup is available to PC and Mac users (VST3 and AU).
