Carbon Electra 2 is an advanced synthesizer from Scaler Music that integrates musical intelligence with powerful sound design capabilities, featuring Waveterrain oscillators, Scale Lock, and a scale-aware note/chord sequencer.
The Scale Lock feature allows oscillators and filters to operate in key with a selected scale, enabling more musical patch behavior and harmonic coherence.
Its innovative Waveterrain oscillators generate dynamic waveforms by calculating a 3D surface that a 2D harmonic curve modulates, offering a unique alternative to traditional wavetable synthesis.
The built-in sequencer intuitively understands the current musical key, facilitating the creation of musical patterns, chord progressions, and arpeggios with support for inversions and substitutions.
Carbon Electra 2 includes a versatile musical filter system that can lock to scale notes, chord tones, or interval relationships, alongside traditional filter types and a morphing Vowel filter.
The synthesizer is equipped with three LFOs, two envelopes, a comprehensive modulation system, and a reorderable effects stack featuring delay, distortion, chorus, EQ, and reverb, all designed for deep sound customization and musical expression.
