Rast Sound have released Evolver 2, available at the intro price of €59.00, increasing to €99.00 after the promotion.
Evolver 2 is a plugin designed to add dynamic movement and life to static sounds by allowing users to draw custom curves that control effect parameters over time, synchronized with their music tracks.
The plugin features a Motion Engine with five FX lanes, each with a visual movement canvas where users can draw or load graphs to control parameters like level, pan, cutoff, feedback, and width.
Users can transform existing graph shapes using tools like repeat, stretch, flip, mirror, smooth, humanize, or simplify, allowing for deep customization without redrawing from scratch.
Evolver 2 offers real-time performance capabilities through an XY Pad and four macros, enabling users to manipulate the overall sound from subtle to animated, dry to spacious, or restrained to energetic.
A wide range of presets, categorized by genre and application such as Dance/Club, Bass/Wobble, DNB/Fast, Ambient/Cinematic, and Transitions, are available to provide starting points for creating motion.
