Relict is a free collection of dark cinematic sound effects and dual Kontakt instruments designed for trailer music, dark ambient, and scoring composers, offering over 220 royalty-free WAV samples at 96 kHz/24 bit.
The sound library includes a diverse range of categorized sounds such as Hits, Deep Impacts, Tonal SFX, Risers, Transitions, and Drones, all accessible as individual WAV files for use in any DAW or sound design environment.
Two powerful Kontakt instruments, Drone Room and Trailer One-Shots, are provided, enabling deep real-time control over the sounds with features like a four-layer morphing engine, XY pad, Animation Path system, and individual parameter control per sample.
Both Kontakt instruments support user sample drag and drop, allowing composers to integrate their own audio into the expressive engines, transforming existing sounds or organizing personal libraries within a unified interface.
Relict also features extensive FX capabilities with three independent insert FX slots per sample/layer and a shared Master FX chain including compression, delay, and convolution reverb with 187 impulse responses, though the Kontakt instruments require the full version of Kontakt 6.8 or higher.
