Rockheyday have released Grovia-SC, available for $10.99. There’s also a FREE lute version to download.
Rockheyday Grovia-SC is a precise 32-bit floating-point sidechain volume shaper designed to address low-end conflicts and create headroom in audio mixes, offering three distinct ducking shapes (Natural, Fast, Pump) with comprehensive Attack, Release, Depth, and Mix controls.
The tool features real-time visual feedback through an FFT spectrum analyzer and a ballistic gain reduction meter, providing clean dynamic control within a switchable, dual-size interface optimized for CPU efficiency.
It supports multi-rate sample rates (44.1 kHz – 96 kHz), Mono/Stereo channel compatibility for main and sidechain inputs, and includes a Listen Mode for direct sidechain monitoring, with a free Lite version available for exploration.
Features include:
- Engine: High-precision sidechain volume shaping and dynamic envelope attenuation
- Ducking Profiles: Three selectable envelope curves (Natural, Fast, and Pump)
- Transient Control: Precision Attack (0–50 ms) and Release (20–500 ms) controls for fine-tuning
- Attenuation Depth: 0–100% range control for complete signal ducking or subtle dynamic control
- Parallel Processing: 0–100% Mix blend for parallel volume shaping
- Make-Up Gain: -12 to +12 dB of clean, high-precision output gain adjustment
- Listen Mode: Direct sidechain monitoring path with integrated safety overrides
- Analyzer: Dual-Layer Input/Output FFT display for real-time harmonic monitoring
- FFT Engine: 4096 / 8192-point resolution with Blackman windowing
- Response Model: Internal 4.5 dB tilt and 350 ms ballistic decay
- Gain Reduction Metering: Dedicated vertical gain reduction meter with instant-attack physics
- Metering: Dual-layer LR Peak meters (body = input level, floating peak = output level)
- Interface Scaling: Runtime dual-sizing layout (Standard and Compact)
- Preset Management: Native XML-based saving and loading system
- Channel Compatibility: Fully supports Mono or Stereo main inputs/outputs, alongside Mono or Stereo external sidechain bus inputs
- Precision: 32-bit floating-point audio processing throughout the signal path
- Sample Rates: Multi-rate support (44.1 kHz – 96 kHz), dynamically matching host DAW settings
Grovia-SC is available to Windows users (VST3).
