MixWave: Yvette Young is a new collection inspired by the signature sound of guitarist Yvette Young, featuring faithfully modeled amps, pedals, and effects that capture her intricate technique and melodic style.
The collection includes a range of effects such as a Boosted Breakup, Fuzz, Ebow, Compressor, Tremolo, Chorus, Lo-Fi Modulator, Octave, Delay, and Reverb, each designed to replicate specific characteristics of Young’s playing.
The core of the sound is built around a hand-wired British-style combo amplifier known for its depth and dynamic response, complemented by a cabinet module offering Alnico Blue and Greenback speaker options and an extensive impulse response library.
This collection is designed for modern workflows, allowing users to rearrange signal chain components and utilize onboard EQ and compressor for mix-ready results, and it can be used as a standalone application or within a DAW.
