Excite Audio has released Evolve Dark Matter, a new sample-based synthesizer inspired by the gravitational and unknown qualities of dark matter, designed for genres like dark drum and bass, atmospheric techno, and experimental electronic music.
This instrument combines dense, gravitational sound sources and synthesis, offering features such as four distinct sound layers blendable in real-time via an XY Pad, intuitive modulation, and four physics-inspired macro effects: Quanta, Entropy, Orbit, and Infinite.
Key features include a quad-engine for blending samples or synths, real-time sound morphing with the XY Pad, one-click randomization, the ability to import custom samples, drag-and-drop modulation, dual filters, a 3-slot FX chain, and 250 presets.
