VIR Harmonic have released Bohemian Clarinet, available at the intro price of £105.00, increasing to £176.00 after the promotion.
The Bohemian Clarinet is a virtual instrument developed by Virharmonic, described as the world’s first Clarinet virtual performer, designed to offer a highly playable and romantic clarinet sound packed with emotion and fresh breaths.
It features an advanced Virtual Performer that makes split-second decisions based on playing input, enabling users to create real, lyrical performances without needing to be a clarinetist themselves.
The instrument was created by recording an unprecedented amount of samples for a solo instrument and utilizes the virtual performer to manage varied legatos, breathing, and emotive expressions in real-time from a single patch.
Bohemian Clarinet offers a wide range of articulations, including longs, shorts, legatos, breaths, and extended techniques, all with round robins and multiple dynamics.
Features include:
- The virtual performer: enables incredibly easy live play, auto selecting the breath types, legatos and expression based on your play style.
- Mood selection: improv, emotive, assertive, classical and sprightly, allowing you to change the behaviour of the clarinetist on the fly
- Performer mode: solo, second clarinet, trio, chamber, divisi trio & divisi chamber
- Maestro: the very first Performer Poly-Legato
- Crafting: blend any forced on breath type/articulation with our legatos.
- Reverb & space: convolution & algorithmic reverbs with added spaces: hall, chamber and studio
