Auddict have released Imperial Erhu, available at the intro price of $79.00, increasing to $200.00 after the promotion.
Imperial Erhu is an AI-refined solo erhu sample library designed for composers working in film, TV, and games, offering an expressive, near-human sound.
The library features over 13,000 samples across 17 articulations and 6 distinct legato types, including traditional techniques like Ya Rou and Gun Rou, performed by erhu artist Haruyo Kimura.
Auddict’s AI-Refined Legato (AI-P) pipeline processes all legato transitions, utilizing phase-convergence and audio-merging to achieve realism twice that of traditional methods.
Legato Aid is integrated to correct performance inconsistencies in real-time, ensuring clean phrases during live playing and reducing the need for extensive MIDI editing.
The erhu’s expressive vocabulary is captured through six specifically labeled legato types: Ya Rou, Gun Rou, Hybrid, No Vibrato, Portamento, and Bowed, switchable via keyswitches.
Erhu can also be bundled with other Auddict vocal libraries for enhanced cinematic soundscapes.
Features include:
- Solo erhu, performed by Haruyo Kimura
- 2 mic positions
- AI-Refined Legato (AI-P) pipeline
- Legato Aid real-time correction
- 17 individually sampled articulations
