Mixbus 12 is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that embodies Harrison Audio’s 50-year legacy of analog console design, offering a powerful music production suite with a signature analog sound and workflow.
New features in Mixbus 12 include a built-in DeEsser and DeNoiser on every channel strip, providing post-production-grade noise control directly within the mix, inspired by Harrison’s large motion picture consoles.
The DAW enhances cue performance with expanded audio and MIDI clip capabilities, allowing for single-button launches, timeline triggering, and direct recording into cue slots, alongside new MIDI piano roll features for more powerful in-the-box production.
Workflow improvements in Mixbus 12 include the ability to save processing chains as templates, a new darker GUI for reduced eye strain, streamlined navigation with new scroll tools, and a collapsible Focus Channel view.
Mixbus 12 offers a unique knob-per-function mixer, featuring Harrison’s signature 32C EQ and optional SSL 9KJ Channel Strip in Mixbus Pro, along with Dolby Atmos immersive mixing tools for spatial audio productions.
