Piruz Labs have released Wrong Dose, available in 2 tiers:
- Lite version – $19.90
- Pro version – $39.90
Wrong Dose by Piruz Labs is a wall-of-sound layering effect designed to create a thick, cinematic soundscape by stacking detuned, panned, and time-smeared copies of an input sound, controlled by a single “DOSE” knob.
Wrong Dose offers controls for shaping the layered sound, including DETUNE, SPAN, VALVE, WIDTH, and MIX, and is available in two visual skins: a “Lab reactor” and a “Studio desk”.
The Pro version of Wrong Dose expands the layering capability to eight layers, adds features like FREEZE for infinite drones, DRIVE for saturation, and DRIFT for subtle pitch movement.
The Lite version features:
- The 4-layer wall (DOSE)
- DETUNE · SPAN · VALVE · WIDTH · MIX
- Both skins (Lab + Studio)
- 6 factory presets + your own
The Pro version features:
- Everything in Lite, doubled to 8 layers
- FREEZE · DRIVE · DRIFT
- 11 factory presets
- Best for cinematic, ambient, huge
Wrong Dose is available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and standalone).
