  • Hardware-modeled VCF4023 filter
  • Polyphonic sequencer mode
  • Per-step sequencer note repeat

Synth Anthology 5 is the largest and most complete edition of its landmark hardware synthesizer collection, brings together 300 instruments from every era, manufacturer, and method of synthesis in a single software instrument. From the pioneering polyphonic synthesizers of the 1970s to the boutique and flagship hardware of today, Synth Anthology 5 places an entire history of electronic sound at your fingertips, instantly playable in any DAW.

Every sound in Synth Anthology 5 begins with the original hardware. Each machine is sourced, serviced, and captured through high-end signal chains, then expertly programmed and edited by UVI’s own sound design team. Built with a deliberate, hand-crafted approach, Synth Anthology 5 delivers the sound of real circuits, real voices, real character, captured faithfully. The result is 300 synthesizers, 6,000+ sounds and presets, each one carrying the unmistakable energy of the hardware it came from.

Hardware sound is only half the story. The other half is what its engine lets you do with it: a creative dimension found in neither the original hardware nor anywhere else in software. At its core is a dual- layer architecture that combines any two of the 300 synthesizers into a single hybrid voice, with the blend itself fully modulatable, allowing for the exploration of entirely new layered sounds.

A built-in Proximity Explorer analyzes each sound you load and instantly surfaces eight relatedvoices to audition and remix, turning a 6,000+ preset library into a guided path of discovery. While the new Analog Drift control introduces small, living instabilities, adding the character of decaying circuitry and increasing analog imperfection at the turn of a knob.
