Quiet Music have released Reverie for KVRs Developer Challenge 2026, available as a FREE download.
Reverie is a resonator effect that turns any incoming audio into an evolving, tuned instrument. A bank of sympathetic strings rings out in the scale you choose, driven either by your signal or by a built-in audio-reactive sampler. Drums become pads, noise becomes harmony, field recordings bloom into cathedrals.
Two engines, one voice.
A few things you can do with it:
- Feed it a drum loop and get a tuned, pulsing pad in your key.
- Load a foley or texture sample and let it resonate the strings, the signature “resonator you feed with textures”.
- Play a melody in and let the strings follow it like a harp.
