Parish Audio have released X1 Exciter, available at the intro price of $24.97, increasing to $49.95 after the promotion.
X1 Exciter is a frequency-focused harmonic enhancement plugin designed to add clarity, presence, articulation, pop, and high-frequency detail to individual tracks and full mixes.
An exciter works by generating new harmonic content from the original signal and blending that detail back into the sound. Unlike simply boosting an existing frequency range, this can help a source feel brighter, more open, or more defined without relying entirely on conventional EQ.
X1 allows users to choose the center frequency and width of the source region feeding the harmonic processor. This makes it possible to focus the effect around vocal presence, drum attack, guitar definition, bass translation, upper-frequency sizzle, or a broader area of a full mix.
Drive controls how strongly the selected frequencies are pushed into the harmonic generator, while Amount determines how much of the generated enhancement is added back to the signal. The Character control shifts the processing from a smoother, warmer harmonic response toward a firmer and more assertive sound.
The interface includes a real-time spectrum display that distinguishes between the selected source region and the harmonic content being generated from it. Frequency and Width can also be adjusted directly from the display.
Additional controls include Mix and Output, along with selectable 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x oversampling. X1 Exciter also includes factory and user presets and a resizable interface.
X1 Exciter is available to PC and Mac users (VST3 and AU).
