Aaron Rutledge has updated Tweakbench Studio, available for:
- Desktop version – $70.00 (usually $200.00)
- iOS version – FREE with optional in-app purchases that unlock instruments and features.
What’s new in version 4.0.260722:
- NEW PLUGIN: Tendril – a generative algorithmic instrument. A Euclidean melodic sequencer with per-note parameter locks drives a sculpting synth voice through granular texture, drive and space effects. Set it running, shape the stream while it plays, and give any note its own sound. Included in the Full Bundle and the 7-day trial, or unlock it individually.
- NEW FREE PLUGIN: Jiasaw – a 6 node modular effect system. Mix and match from 12 different effect units to create your own unique effect chain. Jigsaw is free forever, regardless of the trial or bundle you may own.
- RANDOMIZER 2.0 – now in all 32 non- one-knob plugins. The new chance strip rolls repeatable, shareable patches: target just the section you want. dial in how much changes, lock the parameters you’re keeping, and step back through recent rolls with full undo/redo and A/B compare. Every roll is a seed recipe you can copy and share.
- TIGHTER TIMING – sequenced and tempo-synced plugins now anchor themselves to the host timeline, staying locked through loop cycles, tempo changes, and transport jumps in any AUv3 host
- Plus fixes and polish across the whole suite.
Tweakbench has recently made a major comeback. After nearly 20 years of being “legacy” 32-bit software, the entire suite was rewritten in C++ and relaunched in December 2025 for modern 64-bit systems.
Tweakbench Studio brings the full collection of Tweakbench instruments and effects to iOS as AUv3 plugins.
Install once and access all 28 plugins in your favorite ios DAW.
