The BB Chamber D brings the acoustic magic of Nashville’s famous Blackbird Studio D reverb chamber directly into your mix. Designed alongside studio founder John McBride, this plugin captures one of the most celebrated physical echo chambers in recording history—known for its smooth decay, rich dimension, and musical warmth.
Using KIT’s proprietary ADPT: AI Technology, BB Chamber D models the real-world acoustic behavior of the room while offering controls that go beyond physical limits. You can adjust the room’s virtual Size and Width, swap between classic microphones (C24, R88, 414), and change speaker sources (Hi-Fi, PA, Direct). You can even pipe audio directly from Studio D’s live room or dial in authentic cushion dampening to shape the decay.
To make it mix-ready, BB Chamber D includes a full built-in channel strip modeled on the studio’s A5 console, complete with saturation, 4-band EQ, pre/post filters, and an automatic ducking compressor to keep your dry leads clear.
