Heading to Scotland’s Castlesound Studios, the team removed the lids from two grand pianos to capture their quietest voices. By sampling this quarter-node touch across both instruments and positioning them in an ultra-wide stereo antiphony, they created an instrument with extraordinary depth, space, and character.
Unlike traditional piano plugins built for sheer acoustic power, Harmonic Piano thrives in intimate, ambient, and cinematic spaces. The dampened fundamental leaves behind a crystalline, glass-like tone, while the dual-piano stereo spread adds natural width without extra reverb plugins.
