Sonuscore Release The Sculpture – For Kontakt/Kontakt Player

Sonuscore have released The Sculpture, available at the intro price of $79.00, increasing to $99.00 after the promotion.

The Sculpture is a unique metallic sound design instrument derived entirely from a single, handmade metal sound sculpture created by Klaus Gündchen.

This instrument captures a wide range of sounds, including drones, strikes, resonances, and pulses, by employing various techniques like striking, bowing, and scraping the sculpture.

The sound source was meticulously recorded from four distinct microphone perspectives: close, far, contact, and an internal Blumlein pair, allowing for a blend of intimate detail and spacious ambience.

It offers a full articulation set with mallets, rolls, bowed tones, rubberball techniques, and extended FX textures, playable across both the plates and rods of the sculpture.

The Sculpture is presented as two instruments: a direct, playable ‘Single’ instrument for raw object realism and an ‘Engine’ instrument with five layers, including arpeggiators and granular voices, for complex sound design.

Designed for composers and sound designers seeking organic, non-synthesized metallic and textural sounds, The Sculpture is particularly suited for modern film, TV, game, and horror scoring.

The Sculpture requires a free or full version of Kontakt.
