IK Multimedia Annoinces TONEX 2.0 Player Public Beta

IK Multimedia have announced the availability of TONEX 2.0 Player Public, available as a FREE download. Existing TONEX users as a free optional Public Beta. Download it from the IK User Area under My Products. The final TONEX 2.0 Player software update will also be available to these users free of charge upon its official release.

Available as a public beta for all TONEX users, TONEX 2.0 Player strengthens every part of the TONEX ecosystem. Faster workflows, deeper ToneNET integration, an expanded library of up to 220 new Premium V2 Tone Models, and a completely redesigned TONEX 2.0 Player extend the capabilities of TONEX software and hardware alike, creating a single connected workflow from capture to studio, rehearsal, and stage.

Unlike standalone modeling software or individual hardware products, TONEX is a complete AI-powered guitar and bass ecosystem built around one shared library of Tone Models and presets that connects its software, hardware, global community, and Premium content. Every major update strengthens the entire platform, expanding what musicians can do with the products, sounds, and libraries they already own while adding lasting value over time.

TONEX 2.0 Player introduces a completely redesigned Home page that brings gear, signal chain, and library together into a single streamlined workspace, making it faster and more intuitive to find, refine, and organize sounds.

A new photorealistic gear experience makes interacting with amps and pedals feel more natural, while a flexible signal chain gives musicians the freedom to build and customize complete guitar and bass rigs. Smart Search instantly finds Tone Models, presets, and collections, while dedicated, resizable browsers make every type of content easier to explore and organize.

Everyday workflow improvements – including resizable floating windows, multi-monitor support, custom folders, Favorites, Recently Used content, and one-click access to essential tools – streamline navigation and help musicians stay focused on making music.

TONEX 2.0 Player strengthens the entire TONEX ecosystem by giving guitar and bass players a central place to build, refine, and organize their sounds, no hardware required. Once a TONEX device is connected, presets are immediately ready to transfer and use.

The same Tone Models and presets move effortlessly from capturing gear to studio recording, practicing or rehearsing, and performing live. Capture once. Organize once. Play everywhere.

Rather than creating separate workflows for software and hardware, TONEX provides one connected ecosystem that follows musicians wherever they play.

TONEX 2.0 Player integrates ToneNET directly into the browsing experience, making it easier than ever to audition, download, organize, and manage Tone Models, presets, and collections.

More than a file repository, ToneNET brings together official IK content, Signature Collections, Tone Partner releases, Premium Collections, and community-created Tone Models into a single ecosystem, with powerful discovery and content management tools.
