Musician and plugin writer Filippo Corradin, under the project name Creature From The Black has released a collection of experimental VST plugins that utilize real-time chaotic equations and other dynamic systems as their foundation, rather than emulating classic synthesizers.
Instruments:
- Attrattore: Monophonic synthesizer with 36 chaotic systems integrated live, tunable, morphable, producing unpredictable sounds.
- Reagente: Polyphonic synthesizer that converts 2D patterns or images into spectral partials, blending chemistry and visuals.
- PERCOSSA II: Four-voice chaotic drum machine, each voice a chaotic attractor, capable of producing deep, tuned percussion.
- RadioGranular: Connects to worldwide shortwave receivers, playing live radio signals via granular synthesis, emphasizing ethical use.
- Spettro: GPU visualizer that reacts to audio, with customizable GLSL shaders, capable of scene sequencing and external shader import.
- Ponte: Shared-memory plugin enabling direct audio transfer from DAW to OBS for streaming, avoiding virtual cables.

- Cataclisma: Chaotic attractor-based distortion with rotatable transfer curves, offering multiple distortion modes and real-time shape manipulation.
