Auden Music Release Coda

Auden Music have released Coda, available at the intro price of $79.00, increasing to $99.00 after the promotion.

Coda is a smart sample manager designed to eliminate that friction, turning your chaotic collection into an instantly searchable, intelligent ecosystem.

Traditional sample managers rely strictly on exact file names and rigid folder structures. If a kick drum is saved as BD_04_v2.wav, basic search tools won’t help when you’re looking for something “punchy” or “subby.”

Coda changes the equation with semantic search. You can search using natural descriptive language, and Coda understands the aesthetic quality you are after. Beyond raw audio files like .wav or .aiff, it indexes your synth patches and virtual instruments (including Kontakt, Omnisphere, Serum, u-he, and Dune 3), giving you one unified search bar for your entire sonic palette.

At the center of Coda is Maestro, an integrated chat sidekick that understands your local library. Instead of just tweaking filters, you can describe a scene or project brief directly to Maestro:

Maestro scans your available sounds, surfaces matching assets, and explains why they fit—keeping you focused on composing rather than file management.

Coda addresses common sample-manager headaches with a practical, friction-free setup:

  • In-Place Indexing: Coda indexes your library right where it sits. It never moves, renames, or alters your hard drive organization.
  • Privacy-First Architecture: Core tagging, audio previews, and scanning run locally on your machine. Your personal audio files are never uploaded to the cloud.
  • Direct DAW Integration: Audition sounds inside Coda and drag them directly into Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, or Pro Tools

Features include:

  • Semantic Sound Search: Find assets using natural language descriptions (e.g., “dusty lo-fi snare”).
  • Multi-Format Support: Indexes audio (WAV, AIFF, MP3, FLAC, REX) and synth patches (Kontakt, Omnisphere, Serum, u-he, Dune 3).
  • Auto-Tagging: Automatically categorizes sounds by type, vendor, and library upon import.
  • Maestro AI Assistant: AI chat that recommends specific sounds based on project vibes or film cues.
  • Universal DAW Drag-and-Drop: Drag sounds directly into any major DAW.
  • Non-Destructive Indexing: Scans files without altering, duplicating, or moving them on your drive.
  • Offline & Private: Processing runs locally; your audio files remain on your machine.

Coda is available to PC and Mac users.
