Remi Blaze Releases Hazex – (For MacOS) – A FREE Download

Remi Blaze has released Hazex, available as a FREE download.

Finding a reverb that creates a huge, immersive space without destroying your low end or washing out drum transients is a constant battle. Hazex is a free algorithmic stereo reverb plugin designed specifically to fix these real-world mixing issues.

Core Highlights include:

  • Ghost Ducking: A built-in sidechain with 3ms lookahead automatically dips the reverb tail when dry transients hit, keeping your mix punchy.
  • Sub-Anchor Crossover: Keeps low frequencies (20Hz–500Hz) in mono for a club-ready low end, while mid and high frequencies expand into wide stereo washes.
  • Creative FX: Features Spectral Shimmer (+12 pitch shifting in the feedback loop), Reverse Bloom grain swells, and internal soft-saturation.

Built on an 8-line FDN engine with prime-length delays and a 4-stage input diffuser, Hazex delivers smooth, ring-free tails modulated by 8 independent LFOs.

It includes flexible space controls (0.1s to 10s RT60, tempo-synced pre-delay, tone filtering), an intuitive Master Link macro to scale dynamics, dynamic high-pass filtering, and an infinite Freeze mode.

The interface features a real-time Nebula visualizer, Phase Guard LED, output safety limiters, 21 factory presets, and A/B comparison.

Hazex is available to MacOS users (VST3, AU and standalone).
