Echorium is a submerged echo machine plugin that meticulously models real tape physics, offering a deep modulation system and an interactive X/Y pad for tempo-locked delay patterns.
The plugin features five distinct FX engines: Tape Delay, Space (convolution reverb), Mod (chorus, flanger, phaser), Comp (compressor and drive), and EQ, providing a comprehensive sound-shaping toolkit.
Its Tape Delay engine accurately simulates tape loop physics, including compounding saturation, wow & flutter, dropouts, hiss, and pitch-shifting regeneration for unique echo decay characteristics.
The Space engine offers 28 convolution reverbs, comprising springs, plates, and halls, with full shaping controls and the ability to use user-provided WAV impulse responses.
Echorium includes a dynamic X/Y pad that allows for real-time performance of tape speed and feedback, with 12 automatable motion patterns that can be set to sync with the host tempo.
The plugin boasts over 250 presets organized into 18 banks, covering a wide range of sonic textures from classic tape echoes to ambient washes and lo-fi effects, with a real-time browser for easy navigation.
