Wind Chimes is a generative MIDI, a physics-based generative tool.
Designed primarily for iPad (and fully functional as an AUv3 plugin), Wind Chimes translates physical interactions into expressive, evolving MIDI performance and Control Change (CC) data.
Generative music tools rely on rules, random algorithms, or physical simulations to create notes and control streams that never repeat the exact same way twice. Wind Chimes models the motion and collisions of wind chimes driven by virtual breeze and physics forces. As individual chimes collide and swing, the app converts those physical impacts directly into MIDI Note triggers and dynamic CC modulation data.
