FORMS: Steel is a new addition to the FORMS series, focusing on the hypnotic sound of the hang drum, meticulously sampled to capture its acoustic complexity, overtones, and long resonances.
The library offers 40 distinct presets, balancing raw, intimate physical performances with heavily processed cinematic sound design, allowing users to achieve both natural, earthy tones and mutated ambient textures.
Steel utilizes a dual-source engine, enabling seamless blending between a dry, immediate strike and a processed granular metallic pad, facilitating transitions between acoustic and soundscape territories.
Advanced editing features include independent control over pitch, panning, and stereo drift, transient shaping, and a multimode resonant filter with ADSR envelopes for each layer, all enhanced by a comprehensive FX suite with convolution reverb for atmospheric expansion.
