United Plugins have released Continuum by JMG Sound, available at the intro price of €15.00, increasing to €79.00 after the promotion. The offer ends September 30th.
Continuum is a sophisticated delay plugin that aims to capture the soulful grit of vintage hardware while incorporating modern dual-engine processing capabilities.
It offers two independent delay engines, each with three distinct hardware-modelled vintage characters: Tape, BBD, and Digital, allowing for unique analogue-style imperfections like distortion, wow & flutter, and bit-crushing.
The central CROSS FEED network enables the delay engines to interact, with the DIFFUSE control transforming sharp echoes into lush reverb-like spaces by smearing feedback loop edges.
Continuum features advanced stereo panning with twelve unique spatial modes, including Haas effect and dynamic modes like Orbit, Converge, and Diverge for dynamic movement in the stereo field.
The plugin includes a ‘Feel’ section to inject human groove and rhythmic complexity into echoes with settings for shuffle, odd/even volume accentuation, and groove variations, alongside ‘Organic Time Modulation’ with Sine, Drift, and Rand LFO styles for dynamic pitch and time shifts.
Smart randomization is available via a RAND button to generate fresh, balanced combinations of parameters, acting as a creative idea generator, while advanced input/output controls allow for signal ‘starving’ or driving and wet volume adjustments.
Continuumis available to PC and Mac users (VST2, VST3, AU and AAX).
