Shoma Kondo has released ORORON, available as a free download with an optional.in-app purchase that unlocks the full version.
ORORON is a touch-sensitive boutique overdrive for iPhone and iPad. Use it as a standalone audio app or insert the included AUv3 effect in a compatible host such as GarageBand
Its circuit-informed signal path combines discrete- style input behavior, asymmetric clipping, post-drive tone shaping, and supply-voltage interaction. The AlR control works before the clipping stage, letting you tighten low-end energy before it drives the nonlinear circuit.
The working release model provides 10 minutes of full-featured active use. Demo time advances only while the standalone app or AUv3 effect is actively processing. A one-time, non-consumable In-App Purchase unlocks unlimited use in both the standalone app and AUv3 extension. Restore Purchases is available in the standalone app.
