Afro Latin Percussion Machine is a mobile studio tool built specifically to replicate the human feel, polyrhythmic depth, and nuanced swing of traditional Latin percussion. Available natively across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, it blends deep sound quality with flexible live performance features.
Programming traditional patterns like a guaguancó or a complex 6/8 bembé on standard grid sequencers usually takes hours of micro-timing adjustments. Afro Latin Percussion Machine solves this by building human swing, dynamic variation, and authentic instrumentation directly into its engine.
The app goes well beyond basic salsa loops. You get access to over 100 carefully arranged, traditional Afro-Cuban and Afro-Caribbean styles, including:
- Dance & Modern Staples: Salsa, Son Montuno, Cha-Cha-Chá, Mambo, Merengue, Bachata, Songo, and Bolero.
