Yurt Rock.have released Pick Pocket, available for $49.00. Vault members will have Pick Pocket already included with their membership.
Pick Pocket is an audio to MIDI drum plug-in by Yurt Rock Labs that allows users to extract the timing and velocity of drum grooves from audio, converting them into unquantized MIDI.
Users can capture grooves directly from a DAW track, import loops, or utilize the built-in Vault library, with the software detecting and classifying drum hits like kicks, snares, and hats, while measuring swing, push/drag, and tightness.
The extracted MIDI can be edited note-by-note and then exported as standard MIDI files pre-mapped for various drum software like Superior Drummer and EZdrummer, or as Ableton .agr groove files or rendered WAVs, with the option to design custom MIDI kits using samples from The Vault.
Pick Pocket is available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and standalone). AAX support is coming soon.
