Animation Station PRO, developed in partnership with Pitch Innovations, is the world’s first Universal MIDI Animation Studio, functioning as a virtual instrument plugin that hosts and animates both VST and Audio Unit instruments and effects.
The plugin features three core engines: a Universal Instrument Host for loading any VST or AU instrument, an Intelligent MIDI Sequencer & Arpeggiator with multi-directional patterns and real-time pattern switching, and an FX Animation Engine for animating audio effect parameters using step sequencers, LFOs, and Macros.
A key feature is the Channel Preset ‘Vault,’ which saves entire animated setups, including the instrument, effects chain, MIDI pattern, and effects animation, allowing for instant recall and live switching of complex musical ideas.
Animation Station PRO is designed for both studio production and live performance, enabling users to switch entire animated setups in a single click and use a standalone app for performing without a DAW, making it a versatile tool for creating melodies, rhythmic sequences, and experimental sound design.
The plugin aims to generate limitless musical phrases with minimal effort, offering over 900 presets and extensive customization options for creating everything from simple arpeggios to complex, evolving, and glitchy audio transformations.
