SoundGhost Release Orbit

SoundGhost have released Orbit, available at the intro price of £29.00, increasing to £39.00 after the promotion.

Orbit by SoundGhost is a 3-band spectral stereo sculptor plugin designed to add motion to static audio by splitting signals into independent Low, Mid, and High frequency bands.

The software features dedicated modulators for position, width, and volume for each band, offering various modulation shapes like sine and random that can be synced to a DAW’s tempo or run freely.

Users can experiment with stereo fields using draggable crossover points and analogue-inspired modulation saturation, with additional visual feedback provided through a live stereo field and spectrum view.

Features include:

  • 3-band stereo sculptor plugin
  • Split your signal into low, mid and high bands with 2 draggable crossover points
  • Independently pan, widen and volume-modulate each frequency band
  • 9 modulation shapes per band, including a live envelope follower
  • Free-rate or tempo-synced modulation
  • Live stereo field and spectrum view with a mono-correlation reference
  • One-click randomise and reset per band for fast experimentation
  • Includes presets with custom preset functionality
  • MIDI control and automation supported
  • Plugin window resize functionality
  • Native apple silicon support
