ZAK Sound have released Atmospheres 2, available as a FREE download.
Atmospheres 2 is a free, offline-capable reverb plugin from ZAK Sound that allows users to create unique spatial textures by entering descriptive text prompts.
The plugin features a Magic function to interpret prompts into reverb characteristics, a Random button for instant inspiration, and a Mix knob to balance the processed audio with the original signal.
Built using technology from Deep Waters 2, the plugin functions entirely locally on macOS, Windows, Linux, and iOS devices without requiring an account or cloud connection.
Designed as a creative effect rather than a precise acoustic simulator, the plugin saves atmospheric settings directly within a user’s DAW project session for seamless workflow integration.
