Loopmasters presents a brand-new dedicated collection celebrating Jungle Techno – one of the crucial sounds that helped shape the evolution of UK rave music. Emerging in the early 90s, Jungle Techno stood at the crossroads between the raw breakbeats and relentless energy of hardcore and the deeper, more intricate rhythms that would soon define jungle music. It was a pivotal transitional sound, laying down the blueprint for the next generation of breakbeat-driven music.
Inspired by pioneers including Ratty, Ron Wells, Aurora, Wax Doctor, and Tango, Jungle Techno delivers authentic old-school energy at an essential 150 BPM. Expect rugged breaks, driving rhythms and the darker more serious vibes that capture the moment when hardcore began mutating into jungle — a hugely influential chapter in British electronic music.
