VBLASTBEATS brings the Twisted Electrons BlastBeats FM groovebox to iPad, as a standalone instrument and an AUv3 plug-in.
Build beats with six drum voices and four four-operator synth channels. Shape sounds with the familiar fader panel, record parameter movements and push patterns into new territory with Wiggle modulation and performance tricks.
This is a close recreation of the hardware, using much of its original user-interface code. The button combinations are part of the instrument: hold one control while touching another, just as you would on BlastBeats. Multi-touch and swipe gestures keep that hands-on workflow intact, while the added arid editor gives you a direct view of your pattern.
No BlastBeats hardware is required. Use
No VBLASTBEATS on its own, or load its AUv3
instrument in a compatible host such as AUM or GarageBand.
