Loopmasters and Loopcloud have announced the recent addition of Vintage Grease & Groove by Frontline Producer.
Frontline Producer presents Vintage Grease and Groove, a rich collection of soulful Funk and Gospel groove! Written and performed by acclaimed pianist George Cooper, this sample pack brings together authentic live piano, rotary organ, electric piano, and bass organ loops, all 100% royalty-free.
Vintage Grease and Groove features 485 melodic loops, recorded in crystal-clear quality. With tempos ranging from 95 to 115 BPM, you’ll find plenty of funky grooves and rich harmonic elements to work into your productions, whether you’re creating Funk, Soul, Gospel, R&B, or laid-back Hip Hop.
Every sample was performed live by George Cooper, giving the collection an authentic, played-in feel throughout. George Cooper has lent his considerable skills to a huge range of artists and projects, including Hans Zimmer, Nigel Kennedy, U2, Omar, Slum Village, MF Doom, The Brand New Heavies, Lisa Stansfield, Wet Wet Wet, The Haggis Horns, Chip Wickham and Abstract Orchestra, as well as working as bandleader and producer of The Jazz Defenders.
The live instruments were carefully recorded to capture their character and natural warmth. The Upright Piano was an Evestaff Mini Pianet from 1960, recorded using two Extinct Audio BM9 Ribbons; the Wurlitzer was a 1974 Wurlitzer 206A, recorded using two Aston Starlight condensers; and the Hammond B200 Organ from 1979 was recorded with an Electro-Harmonix Lester K rotary speaker.
