What’s new in version 2.0:
- VERSION 2.0 is HERE! Thanks everyone! This is one of our biggest updates yet. After a year of work, KING OF FM is officially expanding to Mac for Intel & Silicon, adding major accessibility & voice over features, two panel stacked view in iPad and Mac, new Chorus, preset syncing, and a whole lot more.
- Plus the sound engine has been re-worked for beautiful playing with a MIDI keyboard!
- NEW NATIVE MAC VERSION – KING OF FM is now OFFICIALLY available on Mac, with native support for both Apple Silicon AND Intel Macs, plus AUv3 The app has been tested in Mac on Ableton, GarageBand, and Logic so far. If you had the “Made for iPad” mac version, this new AUv3 will be in the “AudioKit Pro” folder. Your old King of FM AUv3 will still be in your old “AudioKit” folder in host.
- ACCESSIBILITY – Major accessibility improvements have been added throughout the app to make KING OF FM a much more enjoyable instrument for blind and visually impaired musicians This is an area we care deeply about, and we’ll continue improving it.
- PRESET SYNC – Your presets can now automatically sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Create a sound on one device and continue working with it on another, Turn on Preset Sync in the Settings panel by tapping the [i] button.
- NEW J60 CHORUS – A new lush and beautiful chorus option has been added Tap the Chorus toggle to switch between chorus types.
- NEW iPAD + MAC NAVIGATION – Now has 2 stacked panels, plus a new middle navigation menu!
- PLUS Musical Typing Keyboard added in standalone for iOS & Mac, CMD + K to show it. Play with your QWERTY keyboard.
- iPHONE + iPAD IMPROVEMENTS – Automation now records correctly in GarageBand and similar AUv3 hosts • Ableton Link upgraded to the latest version.
- Additional fixes, polish, and improvements throughout
