S1gns Of Life have released Retold, available as a FREE download. Donations are welcomed.
Retold is a harmonic looper and delay that remembers what you play. Capture a phrase after the fact, record something new, and reshape it across four stereo layers with musical pitch, reverse playback, slicing and motion.
Part of the S1gns Of L1fe Effects line, Retold is a looper for everyone in our music-making community. Find inspiration in the sounds you already have, follow an unexpected idea, and turn it into music that feels like you.
What you can do:
- Recover a phrase you played before pressing Record.
- Record different bar lengths into different layers.
- Build evolving textures from instruments, vocals, field recordings or drums.
- Explore reverse playback, varispeed and musical pitch relationships.
- Capture a processed moment from output History and transform it again.

Retold is available to PC and Mac users (VST3 and AU).
