MPC Samples have released MPC P-Bass, available for £32.99.
MPC P-Bass is a deeply multisampled instrument for MPC systems featuring an American Pro II left-handed Fender Precision Bass designed to capture authentic 60s and 70s Motown, Soul, and Funk tones.
The instrument includes three distinct playing articulations: foam mute for a pillowy sound, open sustain for natural ringing tones, and palm mute for short staccato notes.
Users can achieve high realism through seven velocity layers and four round robins per note, further enhanced by split key ranges and advanced MOD MATRIX programming for Q-LINK control.
The package provides 43 ready-to-play presets, a melodic MIDI library of authentic bass riffs, and optimized memory usage that outperforms standard plugin instruments.
Compatible with modern standalone MPCs, Akai Force, and MPC Software 3, the collection offers both ‘Starter’ projects and 16-level one-shot samples for flexible integration into music production workflows.
