What’s new in version 4.0.261008:
Meet Calico, plus a round of fixes across all 44 plugins.
- NEW
- Calico: a chorded sampler ensemble. Six sample voices play a curated chord on every key, with 281 factory sounds (sung vowels from professional singers, choirs, acoustic instruments, found- object recordings, Mellotron sounds, drones and textures), 78 presets, strum and arpeggio motion, and separate Sounds, Voices, Chords and Motion randomizers. Try it free for 7 days, unlock it on its own, or get it with the Ful Bundle.
- Every parameter now shows its real unit in your host and automation lanes: 2.00 kHz, -6.0 dB, 35%, 1/8
- IMPROVED
- Arsenal: plays the same at every sample rate, positive Change Amt values now raise the pitch as in classic sfxr, and output is about 12 dB quieter to sit with the other instruments.
- Maelcum and Sonidera: tempo-synced delay now follows the tempo at every division.
- Sonidera: the five main presets play their lead without MIDI input, and dropdown arrows scale with the window.
- Smoother filter automation in Grumblebum, Padawan and Looms Padawan: bar-synced LFOs follow the song’s time signature Pressure: its main controls now come first in the host’s parameter list.
- Tapeworm: quieter output, so the default patch no longer clips.
- Larger product titles across the collection.
- FIXED
- Looms: fixed a bug with the Voices knob.
- Pippo: fixed bugs with the Phase and Delay knobs; they now drive a new stereo chorus
- Saffron: fixed a bug with the Reverb Size knob.
- Bastion: fixed a bug with the Duck Attack knob
- Mashup: factory presets load with their intended wet/dry mix.
- Cairo: loading a factory preset restores Mix to 100%.
- Dropout: sequencer steps at the centre pitch play at the original pitch.
- Pressure: each random seed now always rolls the same patch.
- Plus stability fixes across the whole collection.
